Drum Camps and Groups
Drum Camps are a fun way to join others in exploring the wonderful world of percussion. Ages vary from 6 to 80. Each group works at an age appropriate pace and all of them are....FUN!
Students explore the wide variety of percussion instruments and genres of music from around the world. One Planet Percussion indeed...Unity and Diversity in action!
A safe and encouraging environment is the key to success. Students develop and work on their own goals and the group can choose its direction. All are encouraged to provide positive feedback to the others in the group. Everyone has their own unique learning style, and great care is taken to adjust the teaching style to match. All of us are on the timeline of learning, there are no experts and no one too young or old to begin on their own personal journey. Having worked with special needs students I have learned to be very flexible!
This year we will have 3 main groups:
- 6-12 yrs are from 9 AM to 12 (when they're bright and cheery (!)
- 13-19 yrs 3-5 PM (since that's the Circadian rhythm of teenagers)
- Adults are in the evening 7-8:30.

On-going drop in groups will be available in the Fall
